We had an incredible time at Kapama River Lodge. Our guide Quolani and tracker Bernard curated an extremely special experience for us where we spotted all big 5 animals multiple times. The food was delicious and service from all staff was impeccable. We will always remember this trip. Thank you River lodge team for making our honeymoon extra special and romantic!

Since arrival in Hoedspruit Airport and pick-up by Kapama staff we were blown away by the quality of service. The Kapama pivate game reserve itself is hard to describe, the nature, its smells and sounds are another dimension. The co-existence of animals and people, the respect from rangers towards flora and fauna within the reserve - it makes you rethink your way of living. Kapama River Lodge is one of the best resorts we've ever stayed. Number one is the people, who are working there, number two is the quality of food served in restaurant and the rooms are large, beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. Our tracker Fanie and driver-guide Happiness were not only professional and friendly, but they really shared their knowledge and interesting facts and stories about animals. They were not only chasing the Big 5, but offered us so much more. Can't wait to come back someday.

The whole hotel structure is very beautiful, and the safari experience was special with the Rangers Tahbo and Witness.

We had the best time at Kapama - the staff are extremely friendly and attentive…we were sad to say goodbye! The safari experience was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed all the food and other amenities.
